I studied medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), I hold a MSc in Molecular Biomedicine from CINVESTAV-IPN and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow. Oh, and I LOVE dogs! Especially Belgian and Dutch Shepherds. I am also the administrator of the Facebook Webpage Van Bavel Dogs.
The Great Champion: Cali
Cali is a Belgian Shepherd (Malinois). We have competed in obedience trials and rallies of the Mexican Dog Federation. We both got at least 5 national championship trophies including the Advance Rally Championship 2009 trophie. We got more than 30 first-place bows, and funny enough: just one-second place and one third place bow. Born the 5th October 2008, she is retired and enjoying life in Mexico City. Charlie Sjors Van Bavel
Charlie is a young adult, member of the Van Bavel Working Dogs & Ciencia Perrona Family, and the spoiled child of the Hernandez-Van Bavel home. He is son of the Mexican and Panamerican Beauty Champion Zorian (Cali x Troll) x Yetro and was born the 11 march 2015. Charlie is the first dog of my wife (Mrs. Van Bavel), and she changed from not liking dogs to be a crazy dog lover who can not stand going on holidays without her child-dog! “De Groot” Kludde Van Bavel
Kludde (BRN 33306) is the newest dog in the pack. He is a very strong Dutch Shepherd, imported from Belgium from the top KNPV bloodlines. He is son of the multichampion KNPV PH2 2016 and 2017 Spike|BRN 23624 (Dhr. Dhr. J.A.M Janssen, Venray) x Mexx|BRN 31263 (Mevr. H. Verbrugge, Peer, BEL). He got his first socializing and imprinting from Frank De Jeu in the “Hondenhotel Brigadier Dog Eksel België” in Belgium. We expect to learn a lot from Kludde. Currently he is in training for Protection Dog and Ring Sport.
